Thanks to the generosity of our members and supporters, we are able to provide a number of small grants to local river groups.
This supports our aim of protecting and improving the environment of the River Cam and its tributaries.
We envisage that this grant could be used to buy tools or safety equipment, or contribute towards other costs involved in volunteer led conservation and environmental improvement work in the Cam Valley. For example:
- Telescopic rakes (WolfGarten are good)
- Waders
- Buoyancy aids
- Phosphate and water quality testing
- Publicity costs
Conditions
Applications open to volunteer led River Groups involved in conservation projects in the Cam Valley.
Maximum grant £500.
Application deadline : 5pm Friday 16th December 2022
We will aim to have made our decisions on recipients by early January 2023.
You agree that if your application is successful, you will send us a brief report on what the grant enabled within 1 year.
